Wild Alaska

September 14th, 2017

The Wild Frontier is coming to Texas!  In this NEW class, we will explore the WILD-caught seafood from Alaska, and taste the differences between farm-raised and wild-caught.  This class will focus mostly on Halibut and Salmon.  6:30 - 8:30 PM

 

Classic New Orleans

October 12th, 2017

 

Another new class added to our roster inspired by our neighbor to the east New Orleans, (we will be using a tabletop barbecue for this class, we needed an excuse!) and introducing grilling techniques and cajun/creole flavors! Thursday October 12th 2017 at 6:30 PM (our calendar will not allow tickets to be sold more than 120 days in the future, but your spot WILL be RESERVED for OCTOBER 12th

 

Awww... Shucks, an Oyster Class

January 18th, 2018

This is a class for Oyster Lovers!  From flavor profiles to harvesting methods, this class covers all you need to know about East Coast and Gulf Coast oysters. You’ll also taste through some delicious wines that compliment these briny beauties before getting down to business and shucking your own oysters.  

 

Paella

February 8th, 2018

A favorite among class goers, Fer Candil from Paella's, Tapas, and More teaches this authentic Spanish class. Enjoy Tapas, Paella, Sangria, Wine, and of course the "Porron".   This is a LIVELY class semi hands on, but you will walk away fully satisfied!  

 

Crab Class

April 19th, 2018

This NEW Class and we are super excited about introducing it.  In this class we will compare the different types of crab from Alaskan King, to Snow Crab, to Dungeness.  Because the price and availability of crab varies, this class will be market price.  We will update the price the closer we get to the class.

Squid

May 24th, 2018

This class was inspired by some of our regular students who really helped us shape this years class roster.  In our Squid class we will be bringing in a fresh squid and you will have the opportunity to dissect a fresh squid, and we will do some really fun, different squid recipies.  We love Fried Calamari, but there are so many squid options!
