Tiger Prawns
Tiger prawns are the most widely cultivated prawns in the world. Over 900,000 tons are harvested annually, two-thirds from southeast Asia. Tiger prawns can reach over a foot in length and weight up to close to a pound and half each, making them the largest species of prawn.
Naturally meaty and oily, tiger prawns are complimented well by garlic sauces and dry white wines.
